Our History

Where Did We Come From?

Far West Community Arts Associates (FWCAA) was incorporated in the State of Illinois in 2019 as a not-for-profit community group.   FWCAA carries on the long-held tradition of the Community Associates groups of the Art Institute of Chicago (after these groups were discontinued) by promoting adult learning and engagement in the fine arts.  Look at some of our past events.
